Our production facility is located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, approximately 80 miles west of Philadelphia and 90 miles north of Baltimore.  It was built in 1993 and was up and running by winter of that year.



    Our processing equipment is manufactured by Afrem International, a French company that specializes in pasta and couscous equipment.  The same equipment is used throughout the world by the premier couscous manufacturers.  In 1997 we installed another processing line, also made by Afrem, that more than doubled our annual capacity to approximently 25 million pounds.  Highly automated, the processing is run by one operator and the packaging is done by another.  We operate 24 hours a day with a total of six operators.
